Privacy Policy

Nakivax is a non-custodial application. Because we do not manage user accounts or hold funds, there is no reason for us to collect personal information. This policy describes, concretely, what data is handled when you use the application.
2. Data We Do Not Collect
Nakivax does not collect:
- Your name, email address, or any form of identity
- Your private key or seed phrase — these never leave your device
- Your IP address via our own logging
- Browsing behavior, clicks, or page views via analytics tools
- Cookies used for tracking or advertising
3. Data Stored Locally on Your Device
The following data is stored exclusively in your browser's local storage. It never leaves your device and is not accessible to Nakivax:
| Encrypted private key | Your Solana private key, encrypted with AES-GCM using a key derived from your password via PBKDF2. Nakivax cannot decrypt this. |
| UI preferences | Theme (dark/light), display currency, and density settings. |
| Price alerts | Alert configurations you set within the app. |
You can clear all locally stored data at any time by clearing your browser's local storage or using the browser's “Clear site data” function.
4. Data Transmitted During Normal Use
When you use Nakivax, certain data is transmitted to third-party services as part of normal blockchain and trading operations. Nakivax does not control these services and is not responsible for their data practices.
| Solana RPC | Your wallet address and signed transactions are submitted to Solana network RPC endpoints to execute on-chain operations. |
| Jupiter API | Swap quotes and transaction routing are requested from the Jupiter aggregator API. Your wallet address is included in swap requests. |
| Price data | Token and asset prices are fetched from market data providers (including Pyth and CoinGecko). These requests may include your IP address as seen by those servers. |
Wallet addresses on the Solana blockchain are public by design. Any transaction you make is permanently visible on the public blockchain.
5. Our Servers
Nakivax uses a minimal server component solely to validate and forward swap transactions to Jupiter. This server:
- Receives signed, serialized transaction bytes from your browser
- Verifies the presence of the protocol fee instruction
- Forwards the transaction to Jupiter's execution endpoint
- Generates minimal operational logs (fee validation results) for diagnostic purposes — these do not contain your wallet address or any personally identifiable information
- Does not persistently store transaction content or personal data
6. Cookies
Nakivax does not use cookies for tracking, analytics, or advertising. Browser-native local storage is used only for the functional purposes described in Section 3.
7. Third-Party Services
The following third parties are involved in the functioning of Nakivax. Each operates under their own privacy policy:
- Jupiter Aggregator — swap routing and execution
- Backed Finance AG — issuer of xStock tokenized assets
- Solana RPC providers — blockchain transaction execution (Helius and/or the public Solana mainnet endpoint)
- Pyth Network / CoinGecko — price data providers
Nakivax has no commercial relationship with these services related to user data.
8. Children
Nakivax is not directed at individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect data from minors. Because we collect no personal data at all, we have no mechanism to verify the age of users.
9. Changes to This Policy
This policy may be updated as the application evolves. The “last updated” date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. If we ever begin collecting personal data in the future, this policy will be updated clearly to reflect what is collected and why.
